We are located throughout the Maryland area and offer Affordable Shared Housing FAQs; we also have locations in central Florida (Orlando and Kissimmee).

Affordable shared living is a housing arrangement where individuals have either a private or shared room. Our homes are fully furnished and include utilities and free Wi-Fi. This type of housing fosters a supportive community for individuals facing homelessness, barriers to stable living, or those who simply need a safe place to call home.

Fully Furnished – Fully furnished bedrooms, kitchen, living room, dining room, and bathrooms.

Safe – We do have security camera throughout the property for protection.

Fun – At least twice a year we host community events for our community.

No Credit Check – We make it simple and easy for you to move in.

Wi-Fi – Free wireless internet for all residents.

No separate utility bills – Your rent includes all utilities.

Flexible leases – We offer annual or monthly rates 

Onsite Laundry – Onsite washer and dryer offers convenience.

Keyless Entry – For both the home and bedroom.

Any independent adult in need of an affordable and safe living environment is eligible. We welcome veterans, senior citizens, domestic violence survivors, re-entry adults, and individuals who can live independently and manage their daily needs. We do not require a credit check, high deposits, or market-rate rent.

Individuals may remain in our affordable shared living for as long as needed, provided all rules, policies, and directives are followed. Our program is designed to offer both short-term and long-term housing options, allowing residents to stay until they achieve stability and independence, based on their individual needs and circumstances.

To apply for supportive housing, the first step is to contact us at NewStart Solutions at 410-705-2459,  support@yournewstartsolutions.com If you meet all requirements, you will then be scheduled for an intake assessment. Upon approval, you will receive a welcome letter containing all the information and details needed to ensure a smooth transition into your new home.
